Yoga Practitioner
Clea is a qualified yoga teacher and holds regular classes in Edinburgh.
She has practised yoga since 1992 and it has played different roles in her life. Originally she found it helpful for relaxation and focus. She attended an ashtanga yoga class when she was continuing her music studies abroad. This style of dynamic asana practice helped her to regain a level of flexibility and fitness that she hadn't enjoyed since being in the school gymnastics team!
In more recent years she has come to enjoy and appreciate all other aspects of yoga as well as asana (postures).
In order to enhance her own practice and understanding she took a teacher training course in 'sati-yoga' which has deepened her understanding of the traditional roots of yoga and its philosophy.
